Tuesday – Southern Style Fried Chicken, Buttered Noodles, Green Beans

Wednesday* –  Pork Chops, AppleSauce, Peas

Thursday – Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Veggy

Friday –  Beef Pot Pies

Saturday – Spaghetti and Sausage (A Poppa Bear Request)

Sunday – Loving Leftovers. Spread out a buffet table of all the leftovers from the week’s meals. This means a day-off for the chef!

*If you haven’t noticed by now, we try to make Monday’s our Breakfast nights (one night a week with breakfast for dinner saves on your weekly grocery budget). We also make Wednesday’s pork chops night as the Poppa Bear hates pork and won’t eat it. Since he workouts out and does not eat dinner on Wednesday’s the Little and I take the opportunity to eat it then.

Dh will not be joining us for dinner this week and with other happenings, well, we need quick easy fixes. I obviously didnt put much thought into it as you’ll soon see…LOL

I know most of the menu’s seem to stay the same and are rathing boring. I plan to make that a goal for 2011…to try to spice it up or add a bit more variety. It is just so hard to try to expand from items that are “quick and easy” when you work all day and come home and just dont have the energy or time to make a decent meal. Time to look over the other Mommy bloggers and see what they are cookin’!

It appears that this entire menu was suggestions from DH..who’d have thought? heehee

Monday – Sausage and Peppers in the Crockpot (served with long rolls for DH, layed over brown rice for Little Bear and myself)

Tuesday – Crispy Fried Chicken, Buttered Noodles, Green Beans (Another request of DH’s)

Wednesday –  Hot Sausages, Tater Tots

Thursday – Taco Bar (Little Bear loves making her tacos!)

Friday –  Assorted cheeses, meats, crackers, etc (We do this every Christmas Eve.)

Saturday – Christmas Dinner (Holiday Ham, twiced baked potatoes, homemade mac & cheese, peas, green beans, deviled eggs, desserts)
